While watching nature documentaries, I learnt of a species of termite that has suicide bombers that defend the nest. This made me think about our favourite mob on Minecraft, the Creeper. This lead me to think about how the Creeper could be apart of a similar species, with different versions of "Creeper" that would make a colony.
From the right:Worker
A very small and quick worker drone, scurries around the hive tending to the needs of the higher ranks. Will sometimes pick up blocks to move elsewhere. When attacked, they swarm around the enemy, preventing it from moving and pushing it about. While hardly threading as they do no damage, they are very dangerous if they manage to trap you when a Creeper or Solider is approaching.Creeper
What is there to be said? Big, green and likes to send your insides in to the horizon. The only member of the "Creeper" family that explodes, as it sees humans as trespassers on their territory. The entire species is named after the "Creeper" as it is the most common to be sighted, as the other members very rarely leave the hive. I included the Creeper to show scale with the other mobs.Soldier
The Guards of the Creeper Hive, these giants tower over the workers that scurry under it. Lacking the explosive power that Creepers have, it instead decides to take down its foes with powerful charges and stomping attacks. It can break through Dirt, Sand and Wood blocks.
